Clifford E. Librach, rabbi of Temple Sinai in Sharon, Mass. has a law degree from New York University and clerked for Judge Robert E. Seiler, Supreme Court of Missouri. He has written for the Journal of Reform Judaism, the Jewish Law Association Studies as well as other periodicals.
Stephen M. Passamaneck is Professor of Rabbinic at the Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles and past Honorary President of the Jewish Law Association. He is author of numerous essays as well as Insurance in Rabbinic Law(1974), Jewish Law and Life(1977), The Traditional Jewish Law of Sale(1983) and, with others, Introduction to the History and Sources of Jewish Law(1996). He also serves as a Peace Officer in the Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department.
Moshe Zemer is Director of the Freehof Institute of Progressive Halakhah. He is a founder of the Movement for Progressive Judaism in Israel and founding rabbi of the Kedem SynagogueBet Daniel, Tel Aviv . He is Av Bet Din of the Israel Council of Progressive Rabbis and Senior Lecturer in Rabbinic at Hebrew Union College , Jerusalem , he has also contributed numerous articles on halakhah in the Israeli press and scientific journals, and is the author of The Sane Halakhah[Hebrew ],(1993).
