Freehof (1893-1990) was rabbi of the Rodef Shalom Congregation, Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ; past President of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and the World Union for Progressive Judaism ; past Chair of the Responsa Committee, Central Conference of American Rabbis; author of twenty-six books including eight volumes of responsa, Stormers of Heaven(1931), Modern Jewish Preaching(1941), Preface to Scripture(1950), Reform Jewish Practice(1947, 1952), The Responsa Literature(1955), The Book of Job (1958), A Treasury of Responsa(1963), New Reform Responsa(1980), Today's Reform Responsa(1990).

Michael Stroh is the Executive Director of the Toronto Board of Rabbis, Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Har Zion in Thornhill, Ontario , past-president of Arzenu: International Federation of Reform and Progressive Religious Zionists and ARZA Canada. He has taught at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion , the University of Waterloo , St. Michael's College of the University of Toronto . He has written extensively on Reform Judaism.
Mark Washofsky is the Solomon B. Freehof Professor of Jewish Law, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati , Ohio . Chair of the Responsa Committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He has published numerous studies in the field of Jewish law, legal theory and contemporary ethics. He is the editor of Teshuvot for the Nineties(1997), an author of 4 Guide to Jewish Living and Practice(2000).
Arnold Jacob Wolf(1924-2008) was rabbi, K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Congregatioh Chicago . A major figure in civil rights as well as international peace efforts; he W& the founder and leader of Breira, an organization for peace in the Middle East. He has published over two hundred articles. Among his books are Rediscoveris Judaism(1965),Unfinished Rabbi(1998), Broken Tablets(1999) He taught HUC-JIR in New York , at Yale University and Spertus College in Chicago .
Israel,a founder of Progressive Judaism in Israel and founding rabbi of the Kedem Synagogue-Bet Daniel, Tel Aviv . He is Av Bet Din of the Israel Council© Progressive Rabbis and Senior Lecturer in rabbinics at Hebrew Union Colleg® Jerusalem . He has contributed many articles on halakhah to the Israeli press.
