Peter Haas - Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Vanderbilt University . He was ordained at HUC-JIR in 1974 and completed a PhD in Judaic Studies at Brown University in 1980. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including the just published Recovering the Role of Women: Power and Authority in Rabbinic Jewish Society.
Walter Jacob- Rabbi , Rodef Shalom Congregation, Pittsburgh , President of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, Chairman of the Freehof Institute of Progressive Halakhah. Author and editor of sixteen books including American Reform Responsa(1983), and Contemporary American Reform Responsa(1987), Liberal Judaism and Halakhah(1988), Questions and Reform Jewish Answers(1992).
Richard Rheins- Associate Rabbi of Temple Beth El in Chappaqua, New York . He is a member of the Responsa Committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He is married to Rabbi Susan Miller Rheins.
Mark Washofsky- Associate Professor of Rabbinics- Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati . His publications include studies on the development of halakhic thought in medieval and modern times. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Responsa committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis.
Arnold Jacob Wolf- Rabbi, KAM. Isaiah Israel Congregation, Chicago . He has published three books and over two hundred articles. He has taught at HUC-JIR in New York , at Yale University and Spertus College in Chicago .
