Books of guidance, numerous responsa, as well as scholarly discussion of religious practice, have met a popular response, yet they have also raised many questions. The nature and basis of Liberal halakhah remains unclear. What is the source of its authority? How does the halakhah influence other areas of Liberal Judaism ? What developments can we expect in this field? This volume does not intend to provide answers to each of these questions but to stimulate further discussion.
