MARK WasHOFsKY is Professor of Rabbinics, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati , Ohio . He is Chair of the Responsa Committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He has published a number of studies in the field of Jewish law and legal theory. His books include Teshuvot for the Nineties(1997), and Jewish Living, A Guide to Contemporary Reform Practice(2000).
