Some of our projects realizing in the last years are discussed in this volume. Our papers renounced of description of intervention with aggressive children(e. g. details in Petermann& Petermann, 1984).
Petermann considers an unknown approach demonstrating an integration of situational factors in behavioral diagnoses. Drescher’s contribution discusses the analysis of the familiar network; he shows, that a famihy-oriented intervention reduces childhood aggression, persistently.
Junglas illustrates a systematic intervention with aggressive adolescents in clinical institutions(child and

adolescence psychiatry). Steinke analysed the restrictions of educational homes; these restrictions complicate the application of the training with aggressive children. On the background of a meta-analysis Steinke demonstrates the realistic possibilities of behavior modification with aggressive children.
Finally, Ulrike Petermann and Birgit Röttgen consider a„covert” childhood disorder. These authors discuss an intervention programm with unassertive(shy, socially anxious) children. This paper reports about empirical effects of this intervention(details for the practical approach, e.g. U. Petermann, 1986).
